Description
Tequila Sunrise by James Gibson. 24X30 on Upson.
The sky is painted in intense shades of red and orange, evoking the warm and vivid hues of a sunrise, hence the title “Tequila Sunrise”. The gradient from deep red at the horizon to a lighter, more golden hue higher up in the sky creates a dramatic backdrop. A prominent feature is a tall, slightly leaning palm tree in the foreground, with bright green fronds that contrast against the warm sky.
